About Us

Who is S.W.W.A.T.?
SWWAT is a community of seasonal and full-time residents who treasure the shoreline and its beautiful waterscapes.
We value the health of our families and the tourists who enjoy visiting this area every summer. Pollution with increased bacteria in the water increases the risk of infections of the eyes, ears and upper respiratory tract, and can cause nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.
There have been growing signs of water pollution for many years. The goal of SWWAT is to inform government, and to encourage them to act now to correct current problems and prevent future ones.
